Today, I’m delighted to share with you this wonderful video sent in by former Musiah student, Ali H of Michigan, USA in which he plays Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’ (slow movement).
Ali started learning with Musiah in December. and through regular practice and hard work, in February, around two and a half months later, he completed the entire course — which is something of a record.
Since then, without the help of any piano teachers, he has used the skills he learned from his Musiah piano lessons to teach himself a repertoire of diverse pieces ranging from ‘Nocturne in E flat’ by Chopin to ‘Iris’ by the Goo Goo Dolls.
Here, with considerable poise and expression, he plays Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’ — at less than 6 months since he first started learning piano with Musiah.

Musiah Review: Piano Lessons That Give You The Tools To Learn Other Pieces
From time to time, people ask me, “what will I be able to play after I have completed the Musiah course of piano lessons?”
Until now, the answer I have generally given is that once you have completed the course, you will have the skills to teach yourself more or less any piece (within reason) that you wish to learn… You will know how to read the sheet music and will be able to tell whether you are playing it correctly, and you will be accustomed to learning and practicing efficiently.
But now I think I’ll just refer people to this video — because it’s one thing to be told you’ll be able to learn and play music, but being able to see and hear Ali demonstrate what he can do following his Musiah piano lessons is quite another.
Ali’s tremendous accomplishments are clearly a great testament both to his hard work and to the effectiveness of Musiah piano lessons.
If I had taught Ali the conventional way from the beginning up to and including teaching him this piece, I would be very proud of what he can do.
But to have taught him (indirectly) through Musiah piano lessons from the beginning to the point where he is able to teach himself a piece like this to such a high standard on his own - that is truly rewarding.
And of course the same goes for each Musiah student regardless of where they currently are on their piano lessons journey. I am very proud of all Musiah students and the great things they are achieving as they each progress along their own unique musical journey.
If you (dear reader) would like to experience Musiah’s highly effective, intuitive and life-changing piano lessons, you have not only come to the right place — you have a tremendous opportunity right at your fingertips.
For a limited time, we are offering a Free Musiah Piano Lessons 14 Day Trial, which I warmly invite you to take.
